Abstract

The paper has proposed and developed a visualisation tool to interpret gene expression data. The research has used a novel visual Interpretation of Small Ensembles (VISE) method to interpret microarray datasets discriminating three types of Leukemia diseases. The tool demonstrated the way of classifying leukaemia types using visual representation which act as an aid to biological researchers to identify the prominent and opposing genes. The VISE tool has the ability to reveal new knowledge and make interpretation or results a simple task for the bioinformatics community. It also has demonstrated significant improvements in leukaemia classification accuracy.
