Abstract

Is touch the right user interface for seniors? Or is it mainstream mobile forcing fashion on the mature market? Ian Hosking from the University of Cambridge and Mike Bradley from Middlesex University looked at the facts and misconceptions behind ‘easy to use’ interfaces. They presented the arguments for and against touch screens, and after the lecture the audience was asked to vote for or agaisnt.
