Abstract
Describes a research project at Middlesex Polytechnic which has been investigating the static and dynamic performance characteristics of a new low-cost pneumatic actuator, invented by Jim Hennequin of Airmuscle Ltd., for use in an electric wheelchair mounted robotic arm.
