What causes structure to find a place in love
Burgoyne, Bernard (2002) What causes structure to find a place in love. In: Lacan and Science. Glynos, Jason and Stavrakakis, Yannis, eds. Karnac Books, London, pp. 231-263. ISBN 1855759217. [Book Section]
Abstract
This chapter continues the work of From the Letter to the Matheme (RA2 entry 1), emphasising the common terrain that exists between the unconscious structure and the structure of mathematics. This development of Lacan's emphases on the strict identity of topology and structure has particular implications for form/content disputes in the history of art.
