Abstract

Angela’s presentation is theoretically framed within Dialogic Pedagogy. Discussing data from observations of adults-children interactions in educational settings, the presentation will focus on the interplay between young children’s choices and initiative that display self-determination and adults’ reaction to them. The discussion of data will apply innovative concepts such as ‘listening filters’ and ‘environments that enable’, recently developed by the presenter.
