Abstract

The presentation focuses on teachers’ trust in learners and how different types of trust, or distrust, can influence the positioning of learner, in particular children with migrant backgrounds (CMB), in the classroom.
Leaving discussion of the implication of personal trust for the positioning of CMB in teachers’ narratives to a future symposium, a choice was made for this presentation to focus on the implications of trust based on categorical inequalities.
