Wallen.
Wallen, Errollyn and Wallen, Byron (2009) Wallen. [Performance]
Abstract
WALLEN is a performance by Errollyn and Byron Wallen. The inspiration behind this show is the telling of the story of brother and sister Byron (trumpet/flute) and Errollyn (piano/voice) Wallen.
The performance involved an endless stream of music against a backdrop of images taking the audience on a journey to Belize (their country of origin), to London, to New York; crucial marking places in the Wallens' personal and professional lives.
Extracts were broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Friday, 7th August 2009, at 17:00 presented by Petroc Trelawny.
