Abstract

Through the selection process for this exhibition we wanted to show work that demonstrated a rich variety of printing processes from traditional print such as etching to the more recent digital enhanced prints .To include the works of both older established and younger printers all with an eclectic mix of styles and approaches to both subject matter and method of production. Printmaking in Britain has gained a new vigor with the introduction of new digital means and its incorporation into traditional methods of print. The computer has driven a revaluation of new approaches extending print practice into areas such as installation,books and constructions. This was shown by the section of six British artists,
