Abstract

Ghislaine Boddington organised this one off event as part of the Hyde and Seek Festival held in London featuring a worldwide photographic treasure hunt, a night-time chase across London and unique flashmob dance. In her words “On Saturday 28th June, London was transformed. The banks of the river flooded with people, all waiting for the signal to freeze. Yet not frozen but poised: ready to discover what happens next. There are rumours the concrete cityscape may become a dance floor, a film set, a rocket launch-pad... nobody knows for sure. People arrived at the South Bank on the Saturday 28th June ready to freeze on the signal just after 6:07:08 pm”
