Abstract
Miller created a short film set on location on the 'Sandwalk' down House Kent, Darwin's home. The film interpolates text from "The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals" with the Kentish landscape and biographical detail relating to the death of Darwin's daughter and Darwin's observation of his pet dog.
It was a Channel 4 commission, as part of a series of works inspired by Darwin's work: Darwin Originals.
