Abstract
For over twenty years i have been in a search for a method of making prints which allowed me to collage , juxtapose, montage, restructure and process the full spectrum of my imagery. Digital print has given me the means of exploration of different formal means and structure yet still emphasizes the particular qualities of print to allow the full expression of intention and visual expression of my ideas. These works have the feel of icons and hand coloured litho picture post cards of the fifties, the subject range is broad ,a summery of many visual interests covered in two decades. The work has only become possible in a digital form printed on canvas because of the complex of mix print, graphic, college and photographic means in each work. Heterodox is the first major display of this work brought together for this tenth year of the Impact conference series and are a conclusion of a long search for a medium that accommodates the mixture of differing forms of imagery combined with strong high key colour.
