Abstract
Four short films directed by Sandiland, evolved out of the original text/soundtracks from The Hum, capturing an essence of the text and participant experience.
These films are:
“The People” (text by Wendy Houston, read by Bob Kingsley, selected for screening at the international dance-screen festival, Lightmoves in Limerick November 2018).
“Escalators” (text by Wendy Houston, read by Amy Lyster, promoted on Vimeo and Facebook (2.8k views).
“Laundrette” (written and read by Donald Hutera) and “Pedestrian Crossing” (read by Bob Kingsley) (both presented on monitors at the Brighton Festival opening of The Hum 6th May 2017 at the Brighton Dome)
