Abstract

Casa Cerro is a new build house located in the Córdoba province of Andalusia. This project gave David Fern the opportunity as a designer, to design a stand-alone house in its entirety for the first time. The unique design of the building evolved from the inside out and was directed and informed primarily by the way we hoped to experience the place not merely by its visual form or merely its function, but as a home. However, exterior context was crucially important to the experiential quality and essence strived for.
