Abstract

This article is a reflective/reflexive account of punk, pedagogy and academia. It draws upon the auto-ethnographic approach and the principles of critical reflective practice (CRP) in pedagogic research. These two traditions have a natural affinity owing to the importance placed on the researchers’ reflections upon their own experience in the context of broader theoretical issues and themes.
