Abstract

Tracing the trope of the werewolf back to its roots in antique Greece this presentation problematizes the way in which the drawing of a line between 'the human' and 'the animal' contributed to a constitution of the human as such, with unsettling consequences for our relation to both ourselves and our fellow animals.
