Abstract
Student led presentation focused on the role filmmaking played in a BA year 1 Community Project module. Students focused on exploring communities from strengths based perspectives and explored how communities engaged in community action. One aspect of the module involved students making a short film of a community issue and articulating how engaging in this process helped to understand the work of social theorists.
