Abstract
What happens when artists turn to the ordinary, mundane and private for source material or inspiration? This paper considers ways in which turn-of-the-21st-century choreography has aestheticised everyday life: documenting and celebrating what is normally either hidden from public scrutiny and attention, or considered too trivial to be noticed.
