Abstract
Inhibition of amyoid formation - the β-peptide way: Introducing β-amino acids into short peptides is presented as a novel method of preventing aggregation of amyloid proteins. The data suggest a common precursor to design agents to treat Lewy body disease, Alzheimer's and type 2 diabetes.
