Abstract
As educators, we learn from teaching institutions. We then practice our teaching in a range of educational settings, ideally with a mentor. We test our ability as educators through peer reviews, and, over time develop our capacity to teach others and to shape the teaching institution as part of a 'learning for life' approach.
The work presented highlights a lifelong learning approach throughout the Australian vocational education sector as it applies to the public provider system or technical and further education (TAFE) and managing the the significant changes within.
