Potere e violenza: guerra, terrorismo e diritti.
Full text is not in this repository.
There is a violence that conventionally is not defined as such. It is the violence inflicted by powerful protagonists. In the same way as crimes committed by groups that have a high social status and resources, this violence does not attract a response from civilizing institutions because it is often imposed by the institutions themselves. It does not mobilise the intervention of the criminal justice system as this system is oriented toward the crimes of the weak. In some cases this violence presents itself as its opposite, i.e. as an action taken for noble motives that will eliminate violence from the world. This collection of essays offers a worthy image of collective violence, terrorism, war, and it offers a different key for deciphering their meaning.
