Abstract

The economics and ethics of care are key national and European research and policy issues for labour policies, social welfare provision, gender equity, migration policies. The workshop will explore common concerns underlying these debates: a. care giving and receiving: how should care be provided, paid for? b. gender, ethnicity and migration as constituting relations of care c. the ethics of care: how can this care be better valued?
