Just add water?

Just Add Water? is a 35 minute dance work for 6 dancers with specially commissioned music and design on the theme of multicultural eating. Shobana Jeyasingh's Just Add Water? (2009) examines cross cultural eating as a success story of our time and explores how cultural differences are influenced by our obsession with food and cooking. Six exceptional dancers add their hard-won memories of home cooking in a shifting world to create a beguiling contemporary dance work that includes a sound score by Orlando Gough and text by performer and writer Rani Moorthy. Lucy Carter (lighting), Dick Straker (visuals and design) and Christina Cunningham (costumes) complete the creative team. See links below for reviews and more information.
