Abstract

This paper adds to the available wide-ranging literature on the crimes of the powerful by looking at how these types of the crimes can be justified through philosophical and political arguments. The theoretical investigation is carried out while focusing on the following conceptual variables: equality, inclinations, needs, toleration, liberty and authority.
